Austin Pithey, age 77, of Valley City, N.D., died Friday, April 29, at Sanford Health in Fargo, N.D. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, May 2, at St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Valley City. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 4 until 7:30 p.m. at the Lerud Schuldt Funeral Home and one hour before the service at the church on Monday morning. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 Sunday evening at the funeral home. Interment will be in Our Lady of Sorrow Catholic Cemetery, Verona, ND. |
Barry Martin Bjornson passed away on April 25, 2011 in Las Vegas. He resided in Las Vegas for over 20 years. He was born on July 9, 1944, in Valley City, N.D. He retired this year after 30 years in commercial real estate. He was a member of the National Guard. He graduated from Valley City Teachers College and went on to teach fifth grade. He also owned two Phillips 66 stations and a bulk fuel business for 12 years in North Dakota. His passion: hunting, fishing and making people laugh., He was born on July 9, 1944, in Valley City, N.D. A gathering for family and friends will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday, May 1, 2011, at the Mueller Funeral Home in Peru. Mrs. Welch was born on May 1, 1946, in Valley City, N.D., to Wayne and Delphine (Starke) Lerud. Bonnie graduated from Valley City High School.
