A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 20, at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Oriska. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2 until 5 p.m. at the Lerud Schuldt Funeral Home in Valley City and one hour before the services at the church Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday evening at the church in Oriska. Interment will be in St. Bernard's Catholic Cemetery, Oriska, in the spring. |

Raymond served as a U.S. Marine after World War II while stationed in China. He was a retired iron worker, which brought him to several locations, including Hawaii and eventually Washington. Raymond, his wife, Rozella, and their six kids settled down in Lake Stevens in 1968.
