Angeline Schneider, age 97, of Valley City, ND, formerly of Oriska, ND, died Sunday, April 17, 2011, at Sanford Health in Fargo, ND. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 20, at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Oriska. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2 until 5 p.m. at the Lerud Schuldt Funeral Home in Valley City and one hour before the services at the church Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday evening at the church in Oriska. Interment will be in St. Bernard's Catholic Cemetery, Oriska, in the spring. |

The funeral for Beverly "Bev" Nielsen of Oakes, N.D., will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2011, at 2 p.m. at the United Methodist Church, Oakes. Visitation will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday with a prayer service starting at 7 p.m., also at the church. Burial will be at Oakes View Cemetery near Oakes. |
Bonita "Bonnie" (Lerud) Welch, 64, of Peru, passed away Friday, April 15, 2011, at her home., A gathering for family and friends will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday, May 1, 2011, at the Mueller Funeral Home in Peru., Mrs. Welch was born on May 1, 1946, in Valley City, N.D., to Wayne and Delphine (Starke) Lerud. Bonnie graduated from Valley City High School. She pursued her education at the University of North Dakota, where she received her bachelor's degree in education. Upon graduation, she was hired by the Social Security Administration Payment Center in Chicago. |

Raymond W. Hansen, 84, died April 16, 2011, in Renton. He was born Feb. 10, 1927, to William and Myrtle (Olson) Hansen in Valley City, N.D. Raymond served as a U.S. Marine after World War II while stationed in China. He was a retired iron worker, which brought him to several locations, including Hawaii and eventually Washington. Raymond, his wife, Rozella, and their six kids settled down in Lake Stevens in 1968. Inurnment will take place in Memory Gardens Cemetery near Valley City at a later date., Mr. Moore had moved to Valley City recently and was a volunteer at the Sheyenne Care Center in Valley City. He has no surviving relatives in the immediate area. He had made his home at the Skyline Villa in Valley City. |
