Aimee Jeanette Pawluk Adamski (Feb. 25, 1927 - April 28, 2011) passed away at home in Portland Ore., on April 28, 2011, surrounded by many of her children and grandchildren. Aimee was born on a wheat farm in Tappen, N.D., to Andrey and Marie (Olson) Pawluk on Feb. 25, 1927, the fourth of five children. At age 9, Aimee and her family moved to a family farm in Litchville, N.D. After graduation from Litchville High School in 1944, she entered nursing school at Mercy Hospital in Valley City, N.D. |
