Pastor Janice Mae Peterson went home to meet her Lord May 29, 2011, after a long battle with congestive heart failure, at the age of 69. Jan was born in Denmark, Wis., January 23, 1942, to Earl and Arline (Larsen) Peterson. She graduated from Denmark High School in 1960 and got a degree in home economics from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. Jan worked for 13 years at Mirro Aluminum in Manitowoc as a Home Economist. She then felt a calling to the Ministry, went back to school, and graduated from St. Paul Seminary in Minnesota in 1981., Jan was born in Denmark, Wis., January 23, 1942, to Earl and Arline (Larsen) Peterson.
